Model TR-17VIP is a combined testing system developed for analog and digital tests of complicate electronic modules in manufacturing.

Functional features:
  • in-system analog testing: short circuits and disconnections, resistor ratings, condensers and inductors, set-up semiconductor components (diodes, stabilitrons, transistors), transformers, including binding adjustment, set-up microchips on input protective diodes, microchips soldering quality by means of capacitance method, etc.
  • in-system digital testing: digital microchips control for suitability to truth table. 
To exclude influence of parallel fixed microchips (for example with bus-type technology) on tested microchips there feed pulses of large current with limited duration (backdriving - logic forced transfer into logical condition).

System maximum number of hybrid testing channels (analog/digital) is 1536 (with pace divisible 64). The system can work with pin adaptors devices of “bed-of-nails” type of different constructions such as mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum.

According to module principle there can be added functional modules of power supply, of frequency generators, of program resistance charges, of pulse scale, of dynamic digital tests controller and additional multiplex, relay and digital modules as well.

For functional tests to the testing system via additional module IEEE 488 there can be plugged in external devices which provide more measurements accuracy, such as power adaptors, generators, frequency counters, oscillographs, multimeters and others. This allows joining them in a single hardware-software complex.

The software VIVA supplied along with TR-17VIP works on Windows 7 or Windows XP.

The tester specialized software has got module structure and includes the following: 
  • testing programs and libraries generator for analog in-system tests;
  • testing programs generator for short circuit/disconnection testing;
  • DGT and DIG  modules for in-system digital tests including set of components library;
  • functional programming module;
  • storage module и statistics maintenance,
  • self-diagnosis module;
  • translators from CAD systems and others.
